Charity concert - open air at Lichtenstein Castle
Friday, 18 July 2025 - 7 pm
Modern accordion music passionately, charmingly, refreshingly and virtuosically celebrated by the accordion ensemble ConPassione.
When music meets a unique backdrop, a very special magic is created.
Full of vigour and great emotion, the six musicians elicited a sea of magic, poetry and sonority from their instruments and the selected pieces of music. Bass and drums provided the rhythmically sophisticated touch. ConPassione performed its repertoire with great creative power - sometimes light and fluid, sometimes with noble vigour and passion.
The combination of high-calibre music and the picturesque castle backdrop created a very special atmosphere and brought out the pure joy of playing in Cathrin Rauscher, Anja Hermann, Marion Reichard, Stefanie Adamski, Gisela Wörz and percussionist Jens Rauscher. The accordion ensemble ConPassione offered visitors an unrivalled open-air experience in a historic setting. An evening to remember.
When did the benefit concert take place? Friday, 18 July 2025 at 7 pm (admission 6:30 pm) / In the courtyard of Lichtenstein Castle (open air)
Where to sit? The concert could be followed in a relaxed atmosphere in our courtyard. Only a few seats were offered. The rest of the guests brought their own seats or picnic blankets.
All proceeds from the entrance fees and all other donations went to our 2025 fundraising campaign in favour of the outpatient hospice service for children, teenagers, young adults and their families in the district of Reutlingen, which will run until the end of the year. Around €1000.00 was raised at the benefit concert alone. We would like to thank all the participating musicians, guests and employees who made this concert such a great success.

Fundraising campaign for the Clowns im Dienst e.V.
LAUGHTER RELAXES, ENCOURAGES AND HELPS
Our 2024 fundraising campaign was a success.
On 4 February 2025, we were delighted to hand over the donation sum of €2,735 to Clowns im Dienst e.V.
We would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to this donation. Whether directly into the donation box, via PayPal, by buying a lantern, at the St Martin's parade or at the ‘Kugel mit Herz’ campaign.
With your donation, you make it possible for clowns to bring a smile to the faces of children and adults in children's hospitals and nursing homes - in the Tübingen, Reutlingen, Filderstadt and Schwäbisch Gmünd regions - so that they can forget their illnesses for a short time.
Your generous support helps to spread hope, provide comfort and touch hearts.
Together we can spread more joy and laughter.

Art in the cellar
21 to 23 September 2012
Following the Culture Night in Honau, we will be opening our castle doors for special night tours on Friday 21 September. For this night only, we will bathe the rooms in a special light. The atmosphere ranges from a spooky armoury to a romantic knight's hall. Actors in medieval costumes present the individual rooms and guide you through a night you will never forget. The view from the castle rock to the illuminated Honau and on to Stuttgart will be an experience in itself. Be curious: At 23:30, a final spectacle with secret contents will take place in the castle park.
Around the Lichtenstein, you will be spoilt with culinary delights in the Schloßschenke and the Altes Forsthaus. And if you're feeling sporty, you can let off steam at the first ever night climbing event.
Saturday and Sunday are also dedicated to art. Uke Dengler will be exhibiting works made of tuff in the castle courtyard. The well-known Billy Tröge will be bringing along his sculptures made from tree trunks and will show how the works are created using a chainsaw.

Castle tours followed by a barbecue cookery course in the castle garden
Take part in a barbecue cookery course in the garden of Lichtenstein Castle, preceded by a tour of the castle. After the tour, you will be given a tasty appetiser to get you in the mood and satisfy your first hunger pangs. You will then prepare a variety of dishes under the guidance of a chef and barbecue professional, away from the standard sausage and steak. You grill these together, learn about the different grilling techniques and of course get to eat everything.
Even if it rains or is cold, we are well prepared and can organise the course under a sheltered pavilion. However, should it not be possible to organise a barbecue cooking course due to the weather, we will inform you via the contact option known to us.
